Is this genuine turquoise?
No — this is natural howlite, dyed a light turquoise-blue to resemble genuine turquoise. It's a popular and affordable alternative for craft use.

Can I use it in bath bombs or soap?
Yes, but because howlite is soft and porous, we recommend patch testing first, especially in pale-coloured or full-immersion bath products, as trace dye can transfer.
