Discover Arrowroot Powder and its uses in cosmetics

Arrowroot powder is one of the most underrated yet versatile ingredients in natural cosmetics. Fine, silky, and highly absorbent, it brings oil control, soothing properties, and a beautiful matte finish to skincare, haircare, and soap.

What Is Organic Arrowroot Powder?

Arrowroot powder is a starch extracted from the rhizomes of the Maranta arundinacea plant, native to South America but now grown sustainably in many tropical regions. It is a fine, white, odourless powder that feels silky to the touch. Unlike cornstarch, arrowroot is naturally gluten-free and has a neutral pH, making it exceptionally gentle on skin and scalp.
