Size: 50 meters
Material: 100% Natural Cotton
Usage Recommendations
1. Wick Trimming
Trim wick to approximately 6 mm (1/4 inch) before each burn to ensure a clean, stable flame and minimize
soot.
2. Burn Testing
Always perform a full burn test with your specific wax blend, fragrance load, and dye before mass
production. Factors such as wax viscosity, fragrance type, dye concentration, and environmental conditions
can significantly affect wick performance.
3. Wick Centering
Ensure the wick is centered in the mold or container to achieve an even melt pool and prevent tunneling.
4. Multi-Wicking
For candles exceeding 70 mm in diameter, consider using two or more wicks. Formula: Diameter ÷ Number
of Wicks + 6 mm ≈ wick size.
5. Pouring Temperature
For optimal adhesion between wax and wick, pour wax at the recommended temperature for your specific
wax type (typically 55 – 70 °C for paraffin, 45 – 55 °C for soy wax)
