What does Japanese Cherry Blossom Fragrance Oil smell like?
A soft, balanced floral — orange and bergamot on top, pink cherry blossom and mimosa in the heart, finishing with warm tonka bean, vanilla and oriental woods.
What can I use it in?
Candles, body products, liquid soap, lotion, reed diffusers and room sprays, within the maximum usage rates listed.
What's the maximum usage rate for candles?
Up to 10% for candles. For other products: body 5%, liquid soap 1%, lotion 0.5%, diffuser 25%, room spray 1%.
Can I use it neat on my skin?
No. It's a concentrated fragrance oil for formulation only and must be diluted into a suitable base. It can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions, so always patch test finished products.
Will it discolour my product?
It contains vanillin (0.33%), which can darken light-coloured products over time. Test small batches first.
Is it suitable for diffusers and room sprays?
Yes — up to 25% in reed diffusers and up to 1% in room sprays.
How should I store it?
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, locked up and out of reach of children.
