What is Shea Oil made from?
100% pure Butyrospermum parkii (shea) oil, cold pressed and fractionated from the nuts — no additives or dilution.

How is Shea Oil different from shea butter?
Fractionation removes the higher-melting-point components, leaving a lighter, pourable liquid oil rather than a solid butter — easier to incorporate into liquid formulations like facial oils, lotions and lip balms.

Is this oil ready to use, or does it need to be diluted?
It's supplied undiluted as a pure carrier oil. It can be used as-is in your formulation or blended with other oils and actives at your preferred usage rate.

Can I use this in soap and lip balm making?
Yes — shea oil is a popular lighter alternative to shea butter for soap superfatting, lip balms, lotions, creams and body oils.

Is this Shea Oil hazardous to handle?
No — the Safety Data Sheet does not classify it as a physical, health or environmental hazard. Direct eye contact with the concentrate may cause temporary irritation, so basic eye protection is still recommended when handling in bulk.

Does this oil come with a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes — it's batch-tested for microbial purity and heavy metals, with a Certificate of Analysis, Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet all available on request.

How should I store it?
